Marc Hill is a percussionist with experience in classical, drum-set, world, and contemporary percussion. Having recently graduated with his undergraduate degree in Music Performance from University of Minnesota-Duluth, with Dr. Eugene Koshinski, he is currently based in Duluth, Minnesota.
During his undergraduate studies, he was the recipient of the Mary Ann and Ron Weber Scholarship, the Craig W. Weber performance scholarship, and the Matinee Musicale Performance Scholarship as well as winning the UMD Concerto Competition in 2017 and performing as a featured soloist on their competition concert.
Marc has performed with the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra, Minnesota Ballet, Lake Superior Chamber Orchestra, Twin Ports Wind Orchestra, and has presented two solo recitals in the last two years. He has worked with both adult and high school marching percussion groups, including the Connecticut Hurricanes (DCA), Trumbull High School, and Grand Rapids High School.
