Johnathan Sickerdick

Johnathan is a freelance drummer, multi-percussionist and teacher based in Duluth, Minesota. He is currently studying his Master's Degree in Percussion Performance at UMD with Dr. Gene Koshinski. He Studied Classical Performance (Percussion) under Amanda Grigg at the Elder Conservatorium of Music, recently receiving First Class Honours in 2013, as well as receiving the John "Slick" Osborn Scholarship from the Elder Conservatorium, for high quality performace and outstanding potential for further development in the field of drums and percussion.

He performs regularly within both Classical and Contemporary music settings, having held the position of Section Leader of the Elder Conservatorium Wind and Symphony Orchestras and was the inaugural Section Leader of the Adelaide Wind Orchestra He performs with the UMD Jazz 1 Ensemble on drums, the UMD Graduate Percussion Group, and has performed with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, the Adelaide Art Orchestra and the State Theater Company of South Australia.
