Gretchen Johnston, OSB, is a pianist, organist, and music educator. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in music and music education from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth and a Master of Music degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She has studied primarily with Dr. LeAnn House and Dr. Janice Wenger. She is the Organist and Chime Choir Director at Concordia Lutheran Church in Duluth, and is a cantor and substitute organist at St. Michael's Catholic Church, also in Duluth. In addition to her more than twenty years of music teaching experience, she has performed and continues to perform in solo and chamber music ensemble recitals and as a collaborative pianist.
